About

Hi, I’m Sherri and I’m a sketcher!

My father was my first drawing teacher.  We used to set on my parents bed and draw together.  I then took art classes all through junior high and high school (I actually really got to know my husband while in our senior year of art class), but like most people life got in the way once I started college and working.

I have always needed a creative outlet and have tried many things, but I’ve always missed sketching.  So after many years away I’m coming backing to drawing and sketching.

My main goals is to do urban and architecture sketching, draw horses and maybe someday draw a children’s book about a very special bunny, Bertha.

I think I’ll keep myself to just a few mediums, markers, colored pencil, water color, and of course graphite. I’ve got to start somewhere.
